nexpell is the consistent evolution of the legendary Webspell-RM CMS. The old code was not only modernized – it was completely rethought.
The goal: a secure, extensible and future-proof content management system for modern community websites.

Modular Plugin Architecture
Each plugin is fully encapsulated (own folder, database tables, language files and templates). Installation, deactivation and configuration are handled through a central admin interface. Extensions are possible without modifying the core. -

Modern and high-performance template system supporting{if},{foreach}and{include}. Bootstrap 5 serves as the foundation for a modern and responsive design. -
Modern PHP Code
OOP architecture with a clear class structure, services and managers. Clean separation of logic, templates and data using namespaces, autoloading and prepared statements. -
Improved Security & Data Protection
Protection against SQL injection, XSS, CSRF and session hijacking. GDPR-compliant session and logging behavior as well as a visitor counter with bot detection and minimal data storage.
